Boomi Enabled Slack Bot

Blog Post created by Thameem Khan Employee on May 9, 2018

It's been some time since my last blog. I have been slacking all the while and I wanted to share my experience of building a slack bot. As enterprises start looking at more and more automation, BOTs will play a critical role. BOT platforms provide a sophisticated speech recognition and natural language understanding, which enables efficient UI/UX. But, these BOTs need to interact with other applications to serve data to the end user. This is where iPaaS (Boomi) plays a key role. iPaaS enables BOTs to interact with applications where the data actually resides.

The below video will walk you through an example BOT's functionality, architecture and how Boomi adds value. Hope you find it interesting and come up with more interesting BOTs. Please feel free to reach out to me and as always, comments/suggestions are welcome.
