Reset the password, still getting invalid password when using SSO

Went to the atomsphere platform. Reset my password. When trying to use SSO, i am getting a prompt to login, and invalid password. What needs to be done?
Disable SSO for the new user.
Have the new user, reset the temporary password.
Enable SSO.

The new user should be able to login using SSO, without being prompted for a login/password.
