A simple process that attempts to import an object by accessing a wsdl fails with:

Unable to browse connector: Unable to read WSDL from URL: https://rcext.easiadmin.com/sys/easipricefeed/pricefeed.asmx?wsdl: com.boomi.webservices.AuthWSDLLocatorImpl$WsdlLocatorException: Error locating component for WSDL; Caused by: Error locating component for WSDL; Caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target; Caused by: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target; Caused by: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
Check the firewalls on the servers.

In this particular case the alternative solution was to
create a windows Host file on the production server so that the Atom can access the web service without going outside the firewall and back in.
