How to differentiate between Point-to-Point and Pub/Sub regarding Boomi Atom Queue mechanism ?
Have a look at our reference guide :

Basically the technical differences between the two mechanisms or concepts are:

Point-to-point which is a queue, makes sure that only the intended recipient will receive a copy
of the message, and no more than 1 recipient or listener will receive that message, there is no
duplication, and the same message will not be delivered to multiple recipients.

While the Publish/Subscribe which is a topic, works differently, will send a copy of the same
message to all the recipients and listeners. Each listener will have their own message queue
behind the scenes, and each listener will receive the same message, no matter how many listeners
or recipients are there.
