Can a .csv file be retrieved using a HTTP connector?  If so, what do you enter for the XML Request and Response profiles.
You can use the HTTP connection to pick up a text/plain file, (csv file for our purposes), without supplying a Request or Response Profile. You need to configure the operation to select Content Type as 'text/plain'.
You will need to confirm with the endpoint you are retrieving the file from, where they are expecting you to identify the filename. It can be in the URL in the HTTP connector, it can be part of the HTTP Header, or the resource path. If the value is in the resource path and is listed as a replacement variable, you can pass a dynamic value in the parameters section of the connector.
Please see the documentation at the following links:

Again, you will need to confirm with the endpoint you are retrieving the file from, where they are expecting you to identify the filename.
