How many unsuccessful attempts to login to the platform before the user account is locked. How long does the account stay in the locked state?
A user is allowed a maximum of 6 invalid login attempts before their account is locked. After the 3rd unsuccessful attempt a warning message is displayed indicating that they have 3 more attempts to login before their account is locked.  (If the user is able to login successfully before the 6th attempt, the count will reset itself.)

After 6 incorrect login attempts, the user is locked out and the account administrator will receive an alert email indicating what account was attempting to be logged into unsuccessfully.

The Lockout will remain in effect UNTIL such time that the user selects the "Help I forgot my password" link, and resets their password.
The link to reset the password will be sent to the email address associated with the users account. The link to reset the password is only valid for 30 minutes.
