Salesforce.com communicated a Product & Service Notification to Salesforce administrators announcing that they will be adding additional login pools.  On May 10, 2014, the Salesforce production instances will be updated.   Login pools affect users if both of the following apply:
1.            End-users or inbound traffic integrations use login.salesforce.com to access Salesforce production instances.
2.            IT departments have set up corporate network settings (ie. proxy settings or firewalls, etc) to restrict access to only certain Salesforce data centers or instances (ie. whitelisting certain IP addresses or ranges, hard-coding references to specific instances, etc).

Are your Boomi integrations affected?

The Boomi Salesforce.com connector does NOT use login.salesforce.com to connect to the Salesforce API.

No action is required for the connector to prepare for additional login pools.  Nothing will be affects on the Boomi Platform, Atom Cloud, Test Atom Cloud or on local atoms/molecules/clouds.  Therefore no action is needed.
