When a Listener process is deployed to one of the Boomi Atom Clouds by default it is set to use Basic Authentication.

BASIC authentication credentials are as follows:

  • Username: <account ID>

  • Password: <token>

If you are using a BASIC API configuration:

Ensure you use a user defined under: Atom Management > Shared Web Server > User Management tab. These usernames will contain the Instance ID at the end of the Username for Basic Authentication. The Instance ID is your Account ID followed by a period and the specific attachment ID to the Cloud.

If you are using a INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED API configuration:

You need to use the Instance ID as the Username for Basic Authentication. The Instance ID can be found on the Atom Management page. You will need to click on the Atom Cloud that your process is deployed too, then select the Atom Information tab and you will find the Instance ID listed on this page. The Instance ID is your Account ID followed by a period and a suffix.

If you do not use the Instance ID for Basic Authentication you will receive a 401 (Unauthorized) Error when sending your request.
