Recently, NetSuite has been communicating to their customers that they will soon be disabling DES and 3DES ciphers for integration.


Dell Boomi has confirmed that NetSuite disabling these ciphers will NOT affect current or future Boomi integrations that use our NetSuite connector or any NetSuite related connections.


NetSuite to Disable the DES and 3DES Ciphers for Integrations

The security of your NetSuite account is very important to us. To keep your data safe, we will disable the DES and3DES ciphers, and prevent connections to NetSuite using these ciphers. Disabling the DES and 3DES ciphers is necessary to maintain compliance with PCI requirements.


What is Changing? 
On Friday, February 24, 2017, we will disable the DES and 3DES ciphers in all NetSuite environments in data centers located North America (NA) and in the European Union (EU). This change affects connections to the NetSuite UI, to NetSuite-hosted web stores and websites, and connections to NetSuite from browsers and integrations in your NetSuite account.
