Hi Varun.. I am facing similar issue. What you said is correct. But I have tried to debug the issue by making all the DB fields to Max but still having same issue. Input is a Json profile. Any more suggestions.. thanks
I am facing this issue. Have checked the length of all the fields. Error remains the same. Please advice.
Cross check field lengths in your DB and compare with your DB Profile data and you have an answer there.
I did the same thing but it didn't work.
Ok then probably here is one solution for this:
In your DB profile specify all the fields in a sequence as the DB fields are present.
Try this and let me know.
Above holds good if you have a standard insert/update/delete..
The profile is dynamic.
Also, I have created the profile using Import. I guess field lengths in DB & profile would be same.
Waiting for your expert advice.
Just give a try by configuring the positions same as a DB column positions.
Just drag up and below fields in boomi DB profile so that they are in same order as DB columns are.
I suspect this one if this works let me know.
To help troubleshoot--especially because you're using a dynamic statement--try temporarily enabling the SQL debug (DB Connection > Advanced tab). This will output the auto-generated SQL to the text file you specify.
Note that when enabled, it will NOT ACTUALLY WRITE TO THE DATABASE. Use this output to identify columns/values that may be too long for their respective data types.
Oh and don't forget to disabled the write-to-file flag when done. I've forgotten this before and have spent good amounts of time trying to figure out why the process was successful but nothing was written to the DB .
Thanks a lot Adam, it helped me to figure out the issue.
Thanks Srini & Adam,
I am executing both the suggestions. Will share the results soon.
