Hi, I have a task to read two files and generate one output file. I need to pick up few fields from both the files and write them to one output file. Is this possible in boomi.
Thanks in advance

Yes. What you do is create a branch than in the first leg read the first file, load it into Document Cache in the second leg of your branch you read the second file and create a map where you can combine the file with the data you stored in Document Cache. You will need to have an index between the two files.

Hi, I have done the exact same way. I could see the data in the document cache. I mapped the input and output but the data is not appearing in the output file. Can you please help me with this.

What's your index between the two files?

I created a Cache and created an index on the ID column. In the map, I added a Document Cache Lookup for which ID was inut and address was output. I mapped input and output values and ran the process. It succeded but in the output file address value is empty.
