I'm guessing not given that when I'm trying to create the operation I cannot Import.
Could you please explain your scenario? If you are thinking about common connectors then it is possible.
I have a DB connection in a "Generic" folder so that all processes can access. But when creating an Operation I cannot see the folders where my DB profile is. I think that this may be a different issue and have opened a case.
Typically the connector operations are stored in the folder where your process is designed. You can find your operation file in Process Folder -> Connectors -> Database -> Operations
If you remember the name of your database operation, you can also search in the component explorer.
P.S: Its always a good practice to store the connectors in a shared folder and use them in different processes so that each process does not have its own connector but uses one from the shared pool. This is good for better usage of the connector licenses as processes share the same connector.
Yes, for sure you can while creating an operation too though as default it goes absolutely as Vivek Komarina mentioned above
However to change while building it all you have to do it change the folder location in top after **operation text. Refer below
Let me know if this helps
I hope by you are not clicking on the pencil icon while configuring connection....see if this picture helps else let us know the exact steps you are following and where you get stuck....
So thank you all for your replys and help. I had the the profile set as read instead of write so I couldn't "see" it when trying to select it. It was clearly a ******** move on my part.
