Is it feasible to set Low Latency for a process starting with no data shape?
No, you can not have a process starting with No Data for low latency.
If you set the process mode to Low Latency, the Start shape dialog is set to use the Connector option, the Connector field is selectable to either JMS, MDM Listener, MLLP Server, or Web Services Server, the Action field is set to Listen, You can change only the Connector setting when the process mode is set to Low Latency.
Yes, I do agree with Hari and Low latency processes designed only for listeners. Process should complete in 30 seconds.
Here is some useful help link,
Hi Hari, Pavan,
Thanks for the response.
It’s a batch process, the transaction volume is very high, we do not want to create so many logs for the transaction and we do not want any one to see the payload either hence would like to configure that process as low latency. Any thought is greatly appreciated.
For batch process we do not have start shape as low latency.
It's recommended for processes that should be executed in 30 seconds.
Hope this helps
