I want to build a scheduled job that kicks off 5+ sub-process simultaneously. Any solution?
Hi Naveen Kumar
If you want to just invoke sub processes without data pass through and if you don't want your subprocess to return any response back to main process, you can use below approach:
Develop 1 main process and add branch shape with 5 branches.
In each branch, call your sub processes. In the sub process call, uncheck wait for process to complete
Hope this helps
Hey Naveen Kumar,
By default BOOMI behaviour is that it sends requests simultaneously.
But still your requirement is unclear to me.
If you want to schedule a process that should trigger other process then you can use sub-process shape. If you say this is triggered one after the other.
For single trigger to all the processes then use a Atomsphere API Connector in place and using API calls execute other processes.
Hope you are clear with this, if you are looking for anything additional provide us some additional data so that we can help you out here with some other workarounds.
Great solution - much better than the ideas I had come up with
I do agree with Hari solution and it is useful to achieve your requirement.
If I understand correctly, It might be possible using AtomSphere API/Groovy Script.
Here is possible help link,
Using Atomsphere API - executeProcess - I am receiving an error: name is null.
Thanks Hari.. This is what i was looking for. To execute all 5 sub-process at same time. This saves time not to wait for other process to complete.
