Whenever I try creating a Rest API and add an existing process to it the drop down is never able to access the project folder structure. Is there any work around regarding that?
It did the same for initially. I then typed something in the Search and it did find the process I was looking for. Then I closed cancelled the search and the folder structure then appeared.
This does look like a possible bug.
Is this possibly a latency issue? i.e. The folder structure eventually appears after a period of time. Or it simply never appears?
No Sean, for me I have tried it several times, but it never appears to populate the folder structure.
I have even tried with different boomi accounts also, but yet i face the same issue. This is not very helpful when we try to use our existing processes and nothing comes up. As a result of this each time I have to go with the option of creating a new process.
We too experiencing this because of many components in our component explorer. It's taking 2-3 minutes for us.
Dell Boomi is this a known issue? If not, then can this be considered for improvement as I have faced this issue several times. Thank you.
Can you please submit a case to the Boomi support team to research this issue further? It sounds like there may be several factors including # processes, browser versions, etc. that may be affecting the behavior. In my personal account the list of processes with folders displays as expected after a little delay.
Can you post some screen shots?
For me also process appear a little late as I have huge number of process in my account.
Please find the snapshot for the above mentioned issue.Note: I had waited for more that 15 minutes for this still nothing was populated here.
As sean has mentioned in the earlier comment, this is a latency issue. Please raise a ticket, this has to go through support and R&D.
Thanks of the screen grabs, Yes there may be a bug in your account which can be sorted by R&D support.
Raise a ticket and that will do and keep us posted.
