Has anyone deployed a Dell Boomi runtime to an air-gapped network?
If so, how did you do it?
While Boomi processes will run just fine on an Atom which does not have external network access, the Boomi Atom is dependent on a network connection with the Boomi Platform for all "command and control" and reporting functionality.
To expand on James's comment, that means:
Basically you would be "running blind". There are no administrative, management, or reporting facilities available directly on the local atom. While the Atom architecture intentionally supports the ability to run independently from the platform to accommodate connectivity or platform availability issues, the expectation is those are temporary interruptions. In general a persistent internet connection is a requirement.
