Knowing NetSuite has released 17.1. Do we know by when Boomi will support 17.1
Even though your Netsuite instance is upgraded to 2017.1, your current or new integration processes that are configured with the 2016.2 API (or older) will work with a newer (2017.1) version of the UI. You will only need to use the 2017.1 API if there are specific features that are not available in the 2016.2 API but are only available in 2017.1. Are there any 2017.1 API specific features that you need to use in a Boomi process?
We will start development work on supporting version 2017.1 of the Netsuite API after it is made generally available (GA) and the Araxis Merge Diff file that will highlight 2016.2 - 2017.1 schema changes is available. We will aim to provide support in 90 days after it becomes GA.
You can follow the status of the 2017.1 API it in the netsuite help guide. To see the 2017.1 API status in the Netsuite help documentation you have to be logged into NetSuite. Thanks for the response. There is no specific requirement currently for 17.1 APIs. We were exploring about the possible time frame when Boomi will support.
Yes historically Net suite does support older version APIs.
Also will it be possible to have one process running on 16.2 and another on 17.1 (when available) but use only one connection?
Is there any update on when 2017.1 will be available in Boomi?
We forecast the the Boomi Netsuite connector will support the Netsuite 2017.1 API as part of the Boomi monthly release on 15th Nov 2017.
