In traditional EDI tools,
EDI inbound files are validated against syntax and allowed for further processing only if they are complaint to resepective EDI standards
EDI outbound files are validated against syntax and sent to partner only if they are complaint to respective EDI standards
I am wondering if Dell Boomi does validate the syntax or not.
For example, following are some of the syntax rules for EDI 850 PO1 segment
1. C0302 - If PO103 is present, then PO102 is required.
2. C0504 - If PO105 is present, then PO104 is required.
3. P0607 - If either PO106 or PO107 is present, then the other is required.
4. P0809 - If either PO108 or PO109 is present, then the other is required.
Thanks in advance for your help.
