Need Custom Libraries Use Case.
I use XSL a lot. Default Boomi supports XSLT 1.0. But with the XSL 2.0 you get a lot of smart features.
To enable that I need to use the Custom Libraries.
In Boomi AtomSphere setup the relevant jar-fiels is imported.
I create a Custom Library type General, and select the necesssary jar-files to include.
I save the Custom Library, and deploy the process to the proper environments.
After a while, in my experience up to 5 minutes, the jar-files are visible here:
Once the jar-files are present, the atom is able to perform XSL 2.0 scripts.
If further details are required please reply.
Very helpful Leif Jacobsen--thanks for sharing.
User Guide link for additional reference: Working with custom libraries
Adding one additional point.
Always try to make use of latest versions of the jar in order to avoid scripting errors. In my case It happened and I could not find the reason even I followed what Leif has said. But whenever i installed latest version of the jar, It simply worked and I felt good.
Happy Exploring Boomi.
