The EU GDPR regulations call out very specific requirements for handling private information. What is Boomi doing to provide compliance?
I also wonder what Boomi will do to comply with these regulations. This is very important for (prospective) Boomi customers in the EU. jascha gregorowitsch created an idea for Boomi regarding this, please upvote: Switch of the ViewData functionality in a onpremises config file in the Atom install directory .
Good question. I haven't seen an official GDPR document from Boomi. Food for legal experts, certainly not for me But thinking about it from a practical point of view, implementing GDPR should be an internal discussion. There's a log customers, Boomi developers etc will be responsible for themselves, independent of Dell Boomi. Some examples:
It's likely that some measurements are already in place. In addition to that, review your Boomi or IT best practices, and implement them if you have not already done so. Google the internet for GDPR specific use cases, determine the impact on your organisation. Ask your legal expert for advise. There's a lot you can do already.
