I am having great difficulty setting up a AS2 connection with a customer. Has anyone got a non Boomi AS2 system I can create a AS2 connection with on the cloud so I can check settings?
You must be getting some sort of error when you attempt the connection. Can you provide any details about what is happening? I have been setting up a few AS2 connections lately and have got through various types of issues.
This is a customer trying to send to us. They say they recieve a blank MDN, and showing as the transfer has failed.
That's why I want to test the cloud atom setting with someone else to see if it works.
Did this just start happening? There was a recent Java update and they changed how Unlimited Strength Cryptography is used in Java. If you have Java set to do automatic updates this will cause a problem. It used to be a download and install process to add it to Java. This now comes with Java, but the java.security file needs to be updated to turn on Unlimited Strength. This has to be done to get AS2 working. Just want to make sure this is not the problem.
This is a new customer AS2 setup so I doubt its anything to do with an update
Do you see the connection being made by the customer in process reporting? If you do not see the connection, it could be a firewall issue. The customer must have an error log to show an error message, what is in that log?
