login() operation in the connection to SalesForce in single process

Question asked by slawomir.konon049592 on Dec 19, 2017

Hello everyone,

I have a question about how Boomi deals with the login() operation in the connection to SalesForce (SF) in single process?

SF has limit on SOAP API for login operation. The limit is 3600 calls to login() per user per hour. How many login() executions will be in process which has for example 4 API calls to SF using unique connection but 4 different operations. 3 as connector shapes and one connector call in map function.

Please let me know because i try to find the answer in Boomi documentation but there is no direct answer there.

If someone knows how to verify in boomi or in SF how many login() operations are executed for specific process it will be also a good help for me. I have seen that SF has something like event monitoring but i didn't have opportunity to verify how this monitor works and what information it shows.

Please help
