Creating a Redshift connection

I've been following this blog post to connect to Redshift but am having some difficulty. I put all my settings similar to those in the post, but when I go to test the connection, I get the following error:

Unable to connect to database; Caused by: Unable to open database connection. Unable to instantiate driver class com.amazon.redshift.jdbc4.Driver, please make sure the appropriate jar files are loaded.; Caused by: Unable to instantiate driver class com.amazon.redshift.jdbc4.Driver, please make sure the appropriate jar files are loaded.; Caused by: com.amazon.redshift.jdbc4.Driver

I've also tried using other drivers (jdbc42, jdbc 41, jdbc3) to no avail.

If Boomi is on a Cloud provider (AWS, Azure, etc), that means it's a hosted environment, correct? How do I exactly tell if it's hosted or managed by ourselves? If it's the hosted version, do I still need to go in and add the JAR file anywhere?
