How can I loop through a JSON array?

I have an API I can call that gives me an array looking like this:

  { "id": 1, "object_id": 24, "event_date": "2018-02-14" },

  { "id": 2, "object_id": 16, "event_date": "2018-02-14" },

  { "id": 4, "object_id": 42, "event_date": "2018-02-14" }

What I then want to do is to loop through each item in this list and do some follow-on processing treating each individual element within the array as its own document.

I can make the API call itself very easily via an HTTP connector, but I am really struggling to understand how the parsing and looping concepts work within Boomi.

Can someone clue me in on what magic sequence of components I would use to accomplish such a task?
