Can i install Atom on Azure cloud to access on premise application data? If so i just need to open on prime firewall to access it from Azure Atom, Please suggest.
Yes, you can. But make sure the Atom is running "on the inside the firewall" if it needs to access on-premise systems. For security reasons, direct access to on-premise systems from external networks (AWS, Azure etc) thru the company firewall is not a best practice.
Here's a solution for AWS. I assume you can do similar things with Azure. You can install your Atom in a separate network (VPC). You then need to connect the VPC thru a VPN tunnel (peer-to-peer) with the company network. This way, the Atom VPC is considered part of the company network. I advise consulting your network architect to implement this.
Yes. you can install a boomi atom on AWS or Azure. I installed an atom in AWS before. Only thing is, you need to open up connectivity from AWS EC2 to your network. Usually your IT helpdesk folks should be able to help.
Thank you Sjaak, We have configured this in my environment. We will be moving On Premise molecules to Azure Cloud soon.
