I am new to Boomi, we will be using it to send files to a third party. The files need to be encrypted as pgp files. What application/software are you using to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
Boomi does have feature to encrypt and decrypt pgp using certificates. You may check below links

Thank you for the reply. We do not have those rights in Boomi. The way we are setup is that the other party will come into our server and pick up the encrypted files. We have the public key and need to use that key to encrypt files as a .pgp.
I am not sure what exactly is your requirement. what is the role of Boomi? Are you using Boomi to integrate or move files to another system? If you want to encrypt a file as PGP encrypt and send to another destination like disk or SFTP, yes you can. You can load your public key or encryption certificate to atom and create your pgp encryption. I am not sure whether we are in sync.
Just to add what Britto said, if you are just wanting to use Boomi as the file transport, then, you just treat the file as a 'blob' (say like a JPG, etc) when you want to read and write it somewhere. Say like...
Do you want Boomi to both produce and encrypt the files to be picked up? That's possible. Encrypt the data with the Public key you received from the 3rd party and then send it to the location where the files will be picked up.
