MySQL Jar file not being recognized

I've copied the MySQL Jar file to the userlib/ directory and restarted the Atom but I'm getting the error "This file is not recognized as an AtomSphere Jar file or commonly known JAR file"

Because of this, when I try to create a MySql database connection, the Connector dropdown does not show MySQL as a connection type.

Any ideas why this Jar file isn't being recognized?
