Boomi is too slow and can't even load and it stucks when I opened Netsuite operation for some obejcts?
If you haven't already, you should file a support case.
Its really frustrating as it is takling almost 1 hour just to search and selct fields and filters.
What are you doing that is slow? browsing or just trying to load/configure the operation?
I do not think it is an issue with Boomi. It could be the operation that is performed in NS. I have seen cases where a simple update query (without connecting through Boomi) in NS takes minutes. Even a simple search might take longer time depending on the object that is being queried. To confirm that you can send the operation request to NS and check NS Web Services Usage log whether the request is received. If the request is received and taking time or stuck, it is the NS object causing this issue. If the request has not reached NS, then there is something wrong in Boomi code.
Thanks all. Actually I am configuring the NS operation. The moment i opened that operation to configure ut, that's it-Boomi is **** slow, it stucks and it tajes more and more time to allow me to configure/make changes.
Sorry I didn't mean ****. I actually wrote d a m n. But it translates to ****. I am really sorry.
This seems to be a nice feature. Let me type that **** word
This is proved. Here is the screenshot on what I typed
Do you have a large number of custom fields on your NetSuite object?
I believe Yes. There are many custom fields. But Is there a problem if there are multiple such fields?
Big Netsuite objects with lots of custom fields normally load very slowly in my browser (Chrome on Mac OSX). My colleagues have the same experience on Windows. I never logged a support case for this. Btw: this is issue is already there as long as I develop on the Boomi platform, almost 3 years. For some reason, Chrome start consuming loads of RAM and becomes slow. The CPU fan starts making noise too, indicating high CPU usage. Also scrolling thru the elements is slow.
I am not sure if its a perfect resolution, but I have been following a practice to load NetSuite Objects with a large number of Custom Fields by using Mozilla Firefox, because Chrome sometimes consumes additional RAM.
FYI - This is the only use/reason for downloading Firefox
It's worth a try. Thx for the tip
Thanks all for your valuable responses. Let us ask Boomi team regarding the fix for this in future releases. Andrew Mishalove Adam Arrowsmith, other Boomi team, Could you please take a look into this issue and provide the fix for us? Hope this would be takn einto cosnideration and would be fixed in future releases of Boomi. Thanks for your help in advance.
Happy Exploring Boomi.
Hi Michael Morthala,
