How to Get CET TimeZone in Boomi With out effecting daylight saving

Question asked by shaik.desowja on Apr 12, 2018

We are witnessing an issue after Daylight. Could you please help on this issue.

Background of this Process:

It is a scheduled process, which will run for every two hours that will load the data for last two hours from SAP.

In order to retrieve data from sap for every 2hrs, we are giving 4 inputs to SAP i.e., FromDate, FromTime, ToDate, ToTime.

Since Boomi follows EST time zone and SAP CET time we are changing Boomi timings w.r.t sap time

ToDate,ToTime will SAP current time

FromDate, FromTime will SAP Current time -2 hrs

By above logic it will retrieve data of last 2 hours data for every schedule.

But After daylight, The timings had changed i.e., Boomi Follows EDT and SAP CEST.

Due to this we witnessed one hour miss in current schedule and executing next Schedule.

Before Daylight:

8:00 AM schedule----- it will load data from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM

10:00 AM schedule --- it will load data from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

After Daylight:

8:00 AM schedule----- it is loading from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM

10:00 AM schedule --- it is loading from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

After daylight, We can change manually the inputs(fromdate….). Again there will be daylight we need to change the process. But it will not be the permanent solution.

Let me know what will be the permanent solution in order to resolve this issue?

Is there any way to get SAP Time Zone without effecting daylight by using JavaScript or Groovy?
