I am trying to move he execution directories to a separate drive to reduce the I/O on the C drive. Is this possible?
Symbolic links (Linux) will probably do the trick. I'm not sure about shortcuts on Windows.
Which OS are you using? Windows or Linux? Also we encourage you not to use symlinks in Linux.
Out of curiosity, why do you not recommend the use of symlinks on Linux?
Every piece of documentation I have read said do not create symlinks because if you do you atom will not work properly.
The reason why you should never use symlinks is because you should never run the molecule installer as root and only root has the ability to create symlinks.
Thanks for the reply. Good to know
