Using a hex value as terminator, 0x85

Question asked by dennis.hepworth780027 on May 2, 2018

I found other threads showing how to use a hex value, however when using hex 0x85 as a terminator, boomi is changing it to hex [ef bf bd] for what ever reason.  I have tried decimal 133, same result.  It seems anything over 7E produces this, however when I used 0xc285, I got close, it produce both the c2 and 85 values on the output, but I don't need the c2 output.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
