Locally when i am calling the web service its working fine.
Do I need to configure any port?
Here are a few tips
Thanks for reply.
Boomi atom installed locally and I am calling web service from other environment. How to configure firewall to receive calls from outside.
You can receive calls from your local network as long as there is no firewall in between the caller and the Boomi server. Regarding access from the internet, that is a different story. Allowing access is one thing, security is a 2nd.
You can also use a network tunnel services, such as NGROK (ngrok - secure introspectable tunnels to localhost ).
It installs a small local agent which allows you to access a web service on the local host via a public url. Very handy for testing and much simpler than fiddling around with firewall rules.
Sounds like a Trojan horse. Make sure the network team knows about this ;-)
Well yeah, networking teams would prefer if nobody was connecting to anything at all Would make their life a lot easier.
