A question for all SOAP guru's out here
We have a customer migrating from Tibco to Boomi. It appears that the old Tibco request message doesn't have the operation in the body. Instead, Tibco adds it to the URL. So something like https://api.boomi.com/ws/soap12/v1/customer/create vs https://api.boomi.com/ws/soap12/v1/customer in Boomi.
- Boomi puts the operation in the SOAP body as the 1st element. It does that for both SOAP 1.1 and 1.2. As far as I know, this is how I remember SOAP messages from other integration platforms as well. Is this the defacto standard? What about the Tibco example? Is that valid?
- And what about the SOAPaction HTTP header? Does Boomi use it?
Btw: this example is generated using Boomi API management.
