Have had several instances where I'm evaluating a field on an object and null != null results to true. I have also tried to look for empty string (though it is obviously null)
Does anyone know how to resolve this?
Curious to know if you are getting 'empty value' in xml or 'null is the value' in xml.
Also in decision shape can you try by making the second value to 'static value as empty'
In your decision shape when you say "Static value of 'null'" that means a string whose value is "null" not a null value.
If you simply leave that text box empty then that should match an empty or null string.
1. My original post stated I tried both null and empty (leaving the Static value textbox empty) and neither worked.
2. Switched it comparison operator to = and set the Static value to empty string (not null) and it evaluated correctly.
You CANNOT use != when checking for a null value.
