How can I position text above connectors?

Hello,

By default the text of connector objects is written right in the middle. This looks rather bad on arrows, especially horizontal ones. When I right-click on the object, select "Edit Style" and increase the spacing to the bottom border, this is set for all objects, including rectangles. How can I position text above (or, in the case of vertical connectors, adjacent to) connectors?
One way would be to use a dedicated Text Area, but this has some disadvantages like not being linked to the connector object, so moving the connector does not move the text.

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
