Hi, can someone give me the main differences between the Bulk API and Batch count.
Any points can be helpful
Hello Nabi Shaik,
As far as I know, and this is SalesForce's connector related :
Batch count is an action done on Boomi side , it creates a batch of X documents and send them to SF which process them one by one.
Bulk is done on SF side, basically from what I've been told by SF experts, it creates a job which processes your batch as a whole set of documents, bypassing some internal controls and allowing the transaction to rollback in case of errors.
Basically, there is not difference between Batch and Bulk since a Bulk needs a batch, but a Batch can run without a Bulk. Question is more With/Without Bulk.
Also, from my own experience, I found that when Bulk API is activated, it requires a minimal Batch size (3000 or so) to be fully efficient. If less, then it is not very useful.
Hope my humble knowledge helped you, maybe someone will correct me / add more information.
