I found over a thousand "Comparator type mismatch, returning Not Equals by default" in the process log file. What does this mean? How do I easily figure out in which of the many decisions shapes this is occurring, and what do I do about it?
The process log file usually includes the name of the shape for each entry. If you had not named any of your decisions shapes I would recommend doing so.
If you run this process in Test Mode you should get the same error message and it should show you which decision shape caused the issue.
All my decisions are named. The following is what appears in the Atom execution log for the process. Effectively useless a useless log entry. This is the log located in the Atom\Logs folder, NOT the log available from Process Reporting. Nothing in the Process Reporting log shows any errors associated with Decision shapes.
Jul 26, 2018 1:34:25 PM PDT WARNING [Decision; (Docs: 0)] Decision: Comparator type mismatch, returning Not Equals by default.
