I am using SFTP connector for sending xml files to sftp and found the Auth Fail error.
Using File zilla and putty is working fine with same server and authentication details.
which port you are using for SFTP ?
I am using Port 22.
If you have used correct user name and password it should not through auth fail error. If still you get auth fail error, your password might have @ symbol. We usually do not use @ since it gets encoded. Check this and if present try using %40.
no @ symbol is the there in the password.
Were you able to resolve the issue? If not share some screen of your configuration. My guess is your credentials not matching. You are connecting to sftp from could or on prem?
I have checked the credentials multiple time and I am able to connect from Filezilla.
I am connecting from Local Atom
Were you able to get past authentication issue? If so, could you let me know the fix, please? I am running into the same issue on my side.
Do the local Atom and Filezilla run on the same server?
In my case, they run on a different server. Any suggestions would help me as well
To be sure: have you tried a connectivity test using telnet from the server running the local Atom? Example: "telnet <sftp server hostname> 22".
I have also tried the RSA public/private key but still getting the same Auth error.
In debug log below error I am getting
an exception during authenticationjava.io.IOException: End of IO Stream Read
Exception message is: Auth fail
Yes both are running from the same server.
