"boomi" user installation directory permissions

It's my understanding all Boomi processes run under the account associated with the AtomSphere application/service. Is it possible to prevent processes from modifying files in the installation directories for Local Atoms, Molecules, and private Atom Clouds? The documentation cautions "Unless specifically instructed to do so by Dell Boomi documentation or Support, you should not modify any files in these directories", but I would like to utilize some type of administrative control to help prevent accidental corruption (from within a Boomi process).
