When trying to do a HTTP call Boomi sends the request OK but gets the following error

test execution of <Process Name> completed with errors. Embedded message: Child Synchronous Process Call:    call ended in error: com.boomi.connector.ConnectorException: Datastore error during http SEND: Unable to store data, error copying stream.; Caused by: Datastore error during http SEND: Unable to store data, error copying stream.; Caused by: Unable to store data, error copying stream.; Caused by: Read timed out

I am however able to get a valid response when using a SOAP connector.  Is there any reason why I would need to use the SOAP connector?  I get a valid response when using Postman.
