I have Boomi Process that updates Salesforce records. The update follows Try-Catch shape with retries. By examining the process logs I can see that occasionally the first update attempt fails but the retry succeeds. The log does not provide any detail on the cause of the failure. Is there some way to capture the cause of the initial failure?
I tried adding a Notify shape right before the Boomi Connector, but the error information is cleared from the meta data prior to the retry. I haven't tried setting the Return Application Error Responses flag and then capturing the error after the Boomi connector and then executing an Exception. Will that work and still allow the Try-Catch shape manage retries and ultimate failure after retries are exhausted?
