We have an application that stores documents (word, jpg etc) in a database.
Unfortunately the application adds some data to the end of the file before adding to the database. This extra data needs to be stripped off when it is extracted. The additional starts with a colon and can be of variable length
The process uses a connector to extract the image from the database and uses the base64 decode process to produce the file as a stream of bytes.
I would like to use a data process custom script to identify and delete the added data bytes from the byte stream
Any ideas are welcome
