SFTP connector is returning the following error when retrieving files:
SFTP Error getting data or metadata from DataStore ; Caused by: Unable to store data, error copying stream.; Caused by: inputstream is closed
There could be various reasons for this error. The following are some steps to help troubleshoot the error:
1. Try retrieving the file using a tool that supports SFTP outside of Boomi such as FileZilla.
2. Retrieve a file listing of the directory contents including the file sizes. If the file sizes are large (larger than 1Mb), try creating a very small text file (with just "Hello World" as the content) and see if it can be retrieved by the SFTP connector. If it can, then the issue may just be with retrieving larger size files.
3. Check with the SFTP server administrator to confirm that it supports zlib compression.
4. Check with the SFTP server administrator to see if the SFTP connection is closing possibly due to a timeout setting on the SFTP server side or due to a maximum transmission setting on the SFTP server side.
5. If the issue occurs on any type of file size, and the above are determined to not be the issue, try turning on logging/tracing on the SFTP server side to capture more details from the SFTP logs.
