Email Authentication Error

Gmail ( or other ) could be blocking the atom's attempts to authenticate your username and password.


In Gmail, if you log in from your browser, you may see a big red security bar across the top of the page...


Here is some additional information:


Even if you acknowledge the connection from within google, Google may still block the authentication.  ( For example, Google recognizes the test atom cloud as being in India for some reason ).  Even though you acknowledge those warnings in your "Unusual Activities" page, subsequent connections are still being "prevented"


We are not aware of any administrative settings on these gmail accounts which would help.


As a work around, you may be able to run from a local atom.


Additionally, you can change the account access for less secure apps.
