Setting up SSO for the first time

You would like to set up SSO to Boomi for the first time, but are not sure where to begin.
1.            Review SSO general overview links:

2.            Decide up front which SSO approach will be required (Identify Provider –initiated Log-in and Service Provider-Initiated Log-in).

3.          Review these links and follow the steps to Enable SSO for an account and configure the SSO Options tab.  Refer to the notes below.

Note that the federation ID can come from one of two places in the SAML Response document:
This should be coordinated with the provider beforehand:
Federation ID is in FEDERATION_ID Attribute element — This is the default setting or
Federation ID is in NameID element of the Subject element.

Also, find out if the IP requires a Certificate that would need to be Imported in Boomi (as part of the link above.
