On Wednesday, August 2nd, between the EST hours of 12am to 4am, the platform will undergo it's monthly maintenance. During this time, we will be updating our expiring SSO certificate with a new certificate. This update will only affect SP-initiated login flow, if the IDP system certificate is not updated after the maintenance change, re-authentication will be required. This change is expected to occur between 12am and 1am EST.
Depending on each company's setup, your Identity Provider Administrator will simply need to trigger their IDP to refresh their metadata call to Boomi. Others will be required to download the certificate, attached to this article, and upload to their IDP directly. All impacted organizations that read this article will be expected to locate their Identity Provider Administrator, or the individual who is in charge of SAML SSO configuration for the organization and present the certificate for them to act on.
In the event that you are unable to update or coordinate a time to update the certificate within your organization's Identity Management Platform after 4am EST, a user with "Administrator" access on the platform will be able to log into the platform directly via https://platform.boomi.com and disable SSO via the Setup -> SSO Options (Screenshot seen below). End users will then be able to log in manually via https://platform.boomi.com but may first be required to reset their password in order to sign in.
*Please note that this would only be a Temporary Solution until the Identity Provider Administrator is able to properly update the certificate accordingly.*
