Meltdown and Spectre exploit critical vulnerabilities in modern processors. These hardware bugs allow potentially malicious programs to steal data which is currently processed on the computer. While programs are typically not permitted to read data from other programs, a malicious program can exploit Meltdown and Spectre to read data stored in memory, including sensitive information such as passwords and encryption keys.

Due to the release of the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities, The Boomi AtomSphere Platform will undergo scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 between 12:00 AM EST - 01:00 AM EST. During this maintenance window, the Boomi AtomSphere Platform will be unavailable. Scheduled Atom Processes will not be impacted.
