I am getting this javascript error while working on a date function.

'Error converting java.lang.Double output value 'NaN' for parameter day.'

or even if this works my data object does not gets any value.

Does javascript expects any particular date format for a date value?

Below is what i used

var oldDate=date;
var Shipdate=new Date((oldDate));
var day=Shipdate.getDate()+1;
var nextday=new Date(Shipdate.getFullYear(),Shipdate.getMonth(),Shipdate.getDate()+1);
