Generally in a service you should use the UNC path to access network shares instead of drive letters. The Boomi atom runs as a service.
Brian, Question for you, I am trying to do this using a Linux Server for our atom. It seems like the UNC doesnt work for Linux as it's writing directly to the root of our Linux Box....
UNC is a Windows standard. You can use UNC on Linux if you setup Samba (or CIFS). Samba is available for every Linux distribution. Once it is set up right, UNC will work.
