Converting a Flat File to All Capital Letters
Question asked by

What is the best way to change a flat file to use all capital letters? I see how to change a single field to all caps using a map function, but I'm curious if there is a way to change the entire file with one step.

You could try using a custom script to convert the contents of the file to uppercase. You could modify the script in the article called "How to remove the first line of data using Groovy" to read the data one line at a time, convert it to uppercase and append the uppercase line to the output data.
